Only have 12 reviews after 4 years. Competitor has 400. Help.

Two things fix this. First, ask every happy customer, at the moment they are happiest (usually when the job is done and they see the result). In person, then follow up by text with the direct link.

Second, use a review request tool that sends the link automatically post-invoice. Podium, NiceJob, or the free option: build a short link that points to your Google review URL.

Aim for 5 review requests per week minimum. At 20 percent conversion (typical), that is 5 new reviews a month, 60 a year. In 18 months you catch your competitor.
