How do I pick a business name?
Short answer
Easy to spell, easy to say on the phone, available as a .com and a Google Business Profile. Don't overthink. You can't name your way to success.
Three filters
Say it on the phone, can someone spell it back? Search it, is the .com available? Is anyone within 200 miles already trading under a confusingly similar name? If all three pass, ship it.
What doesn't matter
Cleverness, alliteration, perfect symbolism. Your reputation will define the name. Just don't pick one that's hard to find or trademarked.
